JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For the first time since 1994 there will be a home playoff football game in Jamestown on Saturday afternoon when they host Watford City in the Class AA quarterfinals. The Jays dominated in the regular season finale beating Grafton 52-15.
Connor Fuchs kicked a 44-yard field goal to put Jamestown in front 11-9 late in the second quarter and then Tommy Falk hit Jared Kallenbach on a 25-yard scoring play on the final snap of the first half. Jamestown went into halftime up 18-9 and they rolled from there.
Jamestown finishes the regular season at 6-3 and will be the #4-seed in the Class AA playoffs and that means a quarterfinal game in Jamestown. Kick-off on Saturday is scheduled for 2pm.
