N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Pride of Dakota will be bringing its Harvest Showcase to Jamestown for the first time in its history.
Pride of Dakota was created in 1985 when 20 local companies in North Dakota came together to create the organization. Today, they have over 550 companies participating in the program.
Kelly Wald is a Pride of Dakota Specialist. She says Pride of Dakota typically hosts seasonal shows in Williston, Bismarck, Grand Forks and Fargo. During the harvest season, they hold shows in other communities. This will be the first time they’ve hosted on in Jamestown.
Wald says they expect over 100 booths at the Jamestown show. Pride of Dakota’s Harvest Showcase in Jamestown will be October 21st from 9 AM to 5 PM and October 22nd from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Jamestown Civic Center.
Wald says the showcase is a great way for area members to learn more about products that are created and distributed right in the state of North Dakota and all over the nation.
The event cost is $2, but Wald says individuals who bring a reusable cloth bag to the showcase will have a dollar off. She says participants who bring non-perishable food items to the showcase will have another dollar off, with donations going to the Jamestown Salvation Army.
