VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Valley City family received a free furnace thanks to a Lennox program called HEAT UP NORTH DAKOTA.
Lennox donated an energy efficient furnace to the Hopp family and Bakkegard & Schell of Valley City installed it for free.
Bakkegard & Schell owner Justin Mueller said a friend nominated Major and Kirsten Hopp.
Kirsten Hopp was very excited about being selected. She and her husband Major have three young boys.
Lennox will give away more furnaces to nominated families in the upper midwest next year. Valley City was the first community in the state to benefit from the program.
Nine employees from Bakkegard & Schell installed the furnace into the Hopp home in Valley City on October 6th.
