N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Senior QB Jacob Delvo throws for 162 yards and three touchdowns to help the Cardinals of Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich defeat the Titans of Central Dakota 56-0. The Cardinals remain perfect on the year at 6-0 in Region II and 7-0 overall, the Titans fall to 0-6 in Region II and 0-7 overall. The Cardinals will be the number one seed from Region II for the Class A playoffs and will host a first round playoff game on Saturday, October 21st.
Senior Fullback Connor Tetrault rushed six times for 54 yards and two touchdowns, he also caught a 15-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Senior Wide Receiver Anfernee Economy had two catches for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Senior QB Mason Smith for the Titans was 2-6 passing for 23 yards and three interceptions. The Titans have lost 16 straight, dating back to last year.
