N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – In 2015, Jamestown snapped a long streak of seasons that ended without a trip to the state tournament. Now, they’ve started a new streak with three years in a row going to the “Big Dance” with a 4-1 win over Mandan in a state qualifier.
Jamestown won at all three singles spots with wins from Connor Mullowney, Baylee Hatlewick, and Ryder Lunzman. Then in the double portion, Isaac Mimong and Kaden Williams won their match.
The Jays will be the fourth seed in the state tournament next weekend in Grand Forks. The individual portion of the tournament begins today.
