N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Salvation Army has been collecting coats for their annual coat drive “Coats for Kids”.
Major Teri Nauta with the Jamestown Salvation Army reports that they have received a nice number of coats, which will be distributed to kids in need beginning Monday, October 9th.
Nauta reported Thursday that the Salvation Army had received 70 adult coats, 26 kids coats, 13 snow pants and 1 pair of kids boots.
“I will be looking at my Thrift Store for more kids coats that are usable,” Nauta said in an e-mail.
The Salvation Army is still accepting winter coats for distribution this winter.
The Jamestown Salvation Army office at 320 1st Ave. North will be distributing the coats from 9 AM to Noon and 2 PM to 4 PM October 9th through the 12th. No preregistration is required.
