WEST FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- It was the second meeting of the week with one of the top teams in The EDC for The Valley City volleyball team and for the second time The Hi-Liners suffered a loss. West Fargo topped The Hi-Liners in 4 sets 19-25, 25-16, 25-15,25-21.
With the defeat Valley City drops to 8-4 in The Eastern Dakota Conference and moves to 5th place. Entering the week they had won 7 of their first 8 conference matches, coach Jill Taylor feels the team hasn’t been dialed in these last 2 games
Cali Halgrimson, Mackenzie Pederson and Macy Olstad recorded 8 kills each. Pederson led The Hi-Liners with 3 blocks. Kacee White had 24 digs. Reagan Ingstad collected 21 assist and 10 digs. Halgrimson also registered 10 digs while Lexi Ondracek had 5 digs and 3 aces.
Valley City will have some time before their next matches, they play again next weekend in the Fargo Invite Tournament.
