N.D. (NewsDaktota.com) – Two of the top teams in the WDA got together in Jamestown on Thursday night and the match certainly lived up to the hype. Jamestown and Mandan played into the fifth set. The Jays eventually escaped with a 3-2 win (25-16, 23-25, 25-15, 28-30, 15-7) to stay unbeaten in the west.

In the fourth set, Jamestown lead 24-20 and the Braves staved off eight match points to force a decisive final set. Eventually a Jamestown error followed by a Megan Zander kill ended the exciting fourth set.

Jamestown (16-1, 6-0) will head to Williston on Friday and Dickinson on Saturday. The next home game is Thursday hosting Turtle Mountain.
