CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Hi Liner Cross Country team is running the football from Jamestown to Valley City along the Old Highway 10 route on Friday, September 29th.
The will start at the Jamestown High School and running it right into the pep fest inside the Hi Liner Activity Center just before the opening of the pep fest at 1:45pm. Team captains (Courtney Lloyd, Dakota Tahren, and Eliza Schuenemann) will hand the game balls to the 3 Senior Football players. (Luther Zeltinger, Sam Ihry, and Rylee Bjork.)
The team will also run the ball onto the field and hand it over to officials around 6:45pm and after the coin toss and the band will play two school songs.
Just a a safety message reminder, motorists along Old Highway 10 should look for the Cross Country team running the ball from Jamestown to Valley City on Friday, September 29th.
Also safety alerts in town as we are having elementary students walking from Jefferson Elementary and St. Catherine’s to the High School and Washington Elementary students are being bused to the High School for the Pep Fest Friday, September 29th from 1:45-2:45.
The Homecoming parade starts at 4:00pm and motorists should watch for student again between 3:00pm to 4:00pm be alert and drive safely.
