N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High girls golf team nabbed the final spot for the state tournament next week at King’s Walk in Grand Forks with a sixth place finish in the WDA tournament.
Lead by Kate Mullowney and Sarah Azure the Jays posted a 370 which was 34 shots ahead of Turtle Mountain who finished in seventh.
Mullowney lead the Jays with an 83 (41-42) and Azure came in second with an 87 (44-43). They both qualified for state as individuals.
Century won the tournament with a team-score of 328, nine shots clear of St. Mary’s.
