CASSELTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Yesterday afternoon, a North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper stopped a vehicle on I94 for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, a K-9 trained to detect the odor of controlled substances was deployed and alerted to the vehicle.

Troopers located over 41 pounds of raw marijuana, 7 pounds of various edible marijuana products, and hash oil in the vehicle.

The driver, Alexander Brown, 28 of Marshall, Wisconsin, was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
