N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Friends of the James River Valley Library System (JRVLS) will be meeting Thursday, September 21st to discuss the ongoing renovations and projects in the libraries.
The group will be holding the open meeting for residents to come, learn, and ask questions and find the latest information on planned expansion for the Alfred Dickey Library. Development Director Bill Kennedy pointed out that the Friends of the JRVLS was created to help the library grow.
Kennedy says the Friends have undertaken the project because the library wants to be prepared for the future, but is also in major need of repairs and renovations.
Kennedy says residents who want to learn more about the changes at the library are welcome to the annual meeting on Thursday, September 21st at the Jamestown Arts Center. Kennedy says they hope to bring the library into the 21st Century technology and space.
