VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The compost site for grass clippings near the Old Mill Dam on 4th Avenue and 4th Street Southeast will be closing on Friday, September 15.
Valley City Administrator David Schelkoph said the city transfer station will be open 24 hours a day seven days a week starting Friday, September 15 for Valley City residents. He said residents will be able to drop off tree branches, wood, grass clippings and leaves 24 hours a day at the transfer station southwest of Valley City.
Schelkoph listed three reasons for closing the Old Mill Dam compost site in Valley City.
Just a reminder, the hours for the landfill in Valley City are 8:00am to 11:30am, 1:00pm to 4:30pm Monday through Friday and Saturday’s from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
