ROCKFORD, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Since dropping their first game of the year to North Prairie, the Rockets of New Rockford/Sheyenne have won three straight, including wins over Benson County, Four Winds and North Border.

Last Friday night in New Rockford, Junior Quarterback Teddy Allmaras was 26 of 32 passing with 461 yards and five touchdowns as NR-S beat North Border 42-14 in Region II 9-man High School football action.   New Rockford/Sheyenne had a total of 508 yards in offense, 461 in the air and 47 on the ground.  Senior Quintrell Coleman had eight carries for 60 yards and Junior Tucker Longnecker had 11 catches for 137 yards and one touchdown.  The Rockets improved to 2-0 and 3-1 overall, NB dropped to 1-2 and 1-3 overall.

Next up for the Rockets will be Friday night, September 15th in New Rockford against Midway/Minto, starts at 7pm.  The Rockets and Nelson County will be featured as the TED FM 98.3 Game of the Week on Friday night September 22nd in New Rockford as NR-S takes on Nelson County at 7pm, pregame at 6:35pm.
