N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Great Plains Food Bank will be bringing their Mobile Food Pantry to the Central City on Thursday, September 14th.
The event has been met with great success in Jamestown and now, Carrington area residents will now get their chance to participate in the food distribution event. The event will be held in three separate locations over the course of the day. They include:
– Carrington: Grace Lutheran Church, 95 1st St. NE from 10 AM to 10:45 AM
– New Rockford: Dakota Roadhouse, 381 1st St. (Off Hwy 281) from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM
– Sheyenne: High School Parking Lot, 320 Sunnyside Ave. from 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM
“The Pop-up Perishable Food Program fills a strong need and puts food directly into the hands of those that need it most,” Agency Relations Manager Andrea Block pointed out. “This is all about convenience for the consumer. They know exactly when and where there will be fresh and nutritious food available. We want to make it as easy as we can for those who need help to be able to get it.”
