N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Public School Music Boosters are continuing their mission of providing much needed funding to the school’s music programs.
The boosters have helped the schools considerably since being founded, having purchased new band shells, pianos and providing scholarships for area children.
Booster club President Michelle Weatherly says the fall time brings around a few things for the group. She says they begin meeting the second Monday of each month at the High School Choir room and anyone is able to attend. She says it also brings around their annual Music Through the Ages concert.
The show will feature JHS Students and Directors, UJ faculty and alumni, Choralaires Father/Daughter Group, and other Jamestown Community Members. All of the funds from the concert will benefit area kids in the music programs.
The concert will be Sunday, September 17th at 7 PM in the Jamestown High School Theater. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults and $25 for families.
