N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center will be tapping into the area’s German heritage when they hold their largest fundraiser this Saturday.
Jamestown Arts Center Executive Director Larry Kopp says Oktoberfest will feature all the highlights of the original German tradition. He says one change this year will be a live band.
Matt Hodek & the Dakota Dutchmen will provide live polka music during the fundraiser. Kopp says the event will remain pretty true to the original Oktoberfest.
Kopp says they expect this years event to be the best on yet. He says even if participants are drinkers or have an interest, they should just come down for the camaraderie.
Oktoberfest will be this Saturday at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $35 a piece.
