N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The new Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center (JREC) in Jamestown has already begun helping individuals with their ideas, inventions and business models in the region.

The center is a direct result of the vision of Dr. Robert Badal and Tena Lawrence at the University of Jamestown. It will be used to serve as a resource to help individuals analyze and develop business ideas with partnering agencies and specialists.

Director Katherine Roth says the JREC is an independent entity that will help individuals for free. She says they operate entirely off of sponsorship and grants.

Roth says what’s great about the JREC is that it opens the doors to those seeking to create a new business or idea and connects them with individuals who are successful. It offers them guidance and ways they can make their dreams a reality.

The JREC has already begun helping individuals and offer their services to a nine-county reach. If you want more information, visit www.JREcenter.com or contact Ms. Katherine Roth at Katherine.Roth@uj.edu.
