CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Soybean and corn producers are invited to the Barnes County plot tour on Thursday, September 7.

Barnes County Extension Educator Randy Gruenich (Green-Ike) said seed company representatives will be on hand to discuss the plot entries located 7 miles north of the Hi-line Bridge.

Free sample bags for the soil testing of Soybean Cyst Nematode will be available and producers can register for a free corn and soybean seed drawing.

A free supper sponsored by Maple River Grain & Agronomy and Columbia Grain of Valley City will be served following the tour which starts at 5:45pm on Thursday. For more information contact the Barnes County Extension Service office at 845-8528.
