N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High volleyball team has a target on their back after being picked by the coaches to win the WDA and after some early struggles in their home opener they came back to beat Legacy 3-1 (24-26, 25-18, 25-22, 25-11).
In the first set, Jamestown couldn’t put any separation between them and the Sabers when they had their chances early on. It allowed Legacy to stay around and win the that opening set going to extra points.
Toward the end of set two, Jamestown flipped a switch and pulled away. The same thing happened in the middle of sets three and four as they walked away with the 3-1 victory.
Jamestown is now 8-0 (1-0) on the season.
