ROCKFORD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Department of Transportation has set a public input meeting for Wednesday, August 30th to discuss proposed improvements to US Highway 281.
The meeting will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Memorial Auditorium on the southeast corner of Central Avenue and 7th Street in New Rockford.
“The project consists of full-depth pavement reclamation and asphalt mill and overlay,” the NDDOT reports. “The frontage roads and adjacent ditches along US Highway 281 in New Rockford will be reconstructed to current standards to include a new storm sewer system, and turn lanes at 17th Street SW may be constructed.”
Representatives from the NDDOT, the City of New Rockford, and the consultant team will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.
