(NewsDakota.com) The Lisbon and Oakes High School volleyball teams played a back and forth content to start the 2017 season, and in the end, it was the visiting Broncos who came out on top in five sets by scores of 25-14, 12-25, 25-16, 24-26 and 15-11 Tuesday night.
The Tornadoes had 35 total kills in the match, lead by Nicole Schmitz with 10. Oakes had eight aces, with Makayla Wetzel leading the way with three. Schmitz lead the squad in digs with 30, Claire Wagner had 24 and Sadie Hansen had 22.
