(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School volleyball team commences the 2017 season Tuesday night when they welcome Lisbon High.

With a new season brings some new changes for a team that finished third in Class B District 5 last season; with a 28-9 record and 5-2 in District play. Shari Christenson, who serves in the activites director role for the school district has replaced Mark Quenette, who resigned for personal reasons.

KDDR’s Jason Metko talked with Christenson Monday to preview the season.
