JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man has been arrested and is now facing several charges.

32 year-old Michael Franklin Steiner was arrested and taken into custody on August 19th. Stutsman County States Attorney Fritz Fremgen reports that between July 1st and August 15th, Steiner had committed several crimes.

In that time, Steiner committed the offense of aggravated assault, two counts of terrorizing, disorderly conduct, gross sexual imposition, ingesting a controlled substance, and two counts of simple assault (domestic).

Court documents say Steiner had constantly abused someone referred to as “C.M.”, with some situations having him threatening to “take the kids to the grocery store and set the house on fire with C.M. in it.” It also shows a time when he had told the victim to “strip off her clothes” because he believed she was hiding methamphetamine on herself.

Steiner is currently being held on $15,000 bond at the Stutsman County Correctional Center.
