N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Atonement Lutheran Church will be holding their long-running music festival this Sunday to raise money and food donations for several groups in the area.

The Annual Atonement Lutheran Church Music Festival will be raising food and money for Community Action Region VI’s Backpacks for Kids Program as well as the James River Senior Citizen Center.

Bernie Madsoe has participated in all but one of the music festivals during that time. Pastor Jamie Desai says the event will be freewill with all proceeds going towards one of three causes.

Pastor Desai says they will also take nonperishable food donations.

Local bands will perform from 3 to 7 and include Bernie and the Other Guys, Old Friends, Intrigue and Buffalo Road. Food will be provided and is all freewill offering.

The festival will be held this Sunday, August 27th at Atonement Lutheran Church.
