N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Farm Rescue and Beyer Towing of Fergus Falls, MN have teamed up to help ranchers in crises due to drought.

This Saturday, Justin Beyer of Beyer Towing has coordinated trucking and hay for eleven of Farm Rescue’s cases. Farm Rescue will be providing fuel and additional trucks for the cause.

“The convoy will leave Rothsay, MN and travel on I-94 to Western North Dakota,” Operations Director Carol Wielenga states. “The convoy of 14 semi trucks will leave Rothsay this Saturday morning and travel through West Fargo, Jamestown and arrive to Bismarck Canvas Company in Menoken.”

Operation Hay Lift is an ongoing endeavor by Farm Rescue to haul hay to ranchers in crisis due to drought. They anticipate hauling hundreds of loads of hay throughout the drought-stricken region.
