N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The body of a male found submerged in water has been identified.
Garrick Bonnet, 25, of Streeter was found dead at around 8:30 PM according to Major Jason Falk. The case remains under investigation and no cause of death has been determined.

The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after finding a man in a vehicle submerged in water near Streeter on August 16th.
Deputy Investigator Jason Falk reports that at around 5:30 AM Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious vehicle tracks on a stretch of gravel road near a body of water west of Streeter, N.D.
Deputy Falk reports that the department requested assistance from the Stutsman County Dive Team and their Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV). At around 1 PM, the department received a report of a missing person from the Streeter area.
“At that point, the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office requested the full activiation of the Stutsman County Dive Team,” Falk says in a report.
At around 2 PM, a vehicle was located by the ROV fully submerged in the body of water. The North Dakota Highway Patrol K-9 tracking team and airplane assisted in both ground and air search of the area. The body of a 25 year-old male was located and retrieved by the dive team by around 8:30 PM.
The cause of death is still under investigation. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Jamestown Police Department, NDBCI and local residents.
