FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Three individuals were hurt after they encountered heavy rain and hydroplaned Sunday evening.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that driver Alvin Jorgensen, 71, and Josephine Jorgensen, 54, of Hope, ND were traveling from Fargo to Valley City when they lost control of the vehicle. Jorgensen applied his brakes and slid into the median striking an overhead sign support on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Passenger Ruth Berger, 77, of Valley City was also injured in the crash. All were transported to Sanford Health in Fargo for treatment of their injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
