N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a 3 vehicle crash that occurred North of Jamestown on Sunday, August 6th.
Sgt. Tom Herzig reports that Ernest Castillo, 38, of Gackle was traveling northboud on Highway 52 roughly 3 miles north of Jamestown when he attempted to turn west onto 31st Street SE. Castillo failed to yield and was struck by a Chevy Colorado driven by Clay Kamoni of Jamestown.
A Kenworth driven by Curt Nelson of Warren, MN was also sideswiped by Kamoni. He was not injured.
Castillo and Kamoni were injured in the incident. The Highway Patrol is investigating. The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Department, Jamestown Ambulance, and Jamestown Crash Rescue assisted in the crash.
