N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The “Stuff the Bus” program has returned and will be helping local kids prepare for back to school.
The program invites individuals to donate school supplies to area children in need. Buffalo Mall Administrative Assistant Bev Dawson says they’re looking for donations of necessary items for students in Kindergarten through grade 12.
Dawson says from there, members from Community Action Region VI will pick up the donations and prepare them for distribution for those in need. Wish lists are available at the Buffalo Mall and Gate City Bank. Dawson says they’ve helped a lot of kids throughout the programs history.
Donations will be accepted through August 17th and can be dropped off at either the Buffalo Mall or Gate City Bank. Parents and guardians are asked to call 701-252-1821 beginning August 21st for an appointment to pick up their children’s school supplies.
