N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Eagle’s Healing Nest Volunteer Mike Spaude rounded out his over 10,000 mile trip in Jamestown Thursday afternoon.

Spaude set out on the journey from Sauk Centre, Minnesota on July 9th and from there, ventured out on an 18 day trip that took him through 48 states and 10,600 miles. Mike’s wife Jane says it took him a year to plan the journey, which was planned to raise money for American military veterans.

Mikes trip brought him to Jamestown Thursday, July 27th. His stop at Stutsman Harley Davidson was brief, but fruitful. To prove he had made stops in all 48 states, Spaude obtained a t-shirt and a poker chip from a dealership in each state. His wife will create a quilt from all the t-shirts Mike collected on the trip.
