N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Game & Fish Department are about to become a broken record, repeating the same message constantly for the next month.

That message? Go fishing.

Game & Fish Outreach Biologist Doug Leier says with the approaching school year, residents need to take what’s left of the summer and go fishing.

Leier says the reason for this is to get more individuals outdoors, which is a big thing the department is trying to encourage. He stated that they don’t need to make big plans to do so.

As far as hunting goes, fall is approaching fast and that normally means major hunting seasons commence.

Deadline to apply for a pronghorn license is Wednesday, August 2nd.
