N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Dairy Queen and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital teamed up Thursday for the 12th annual Miracle Treat Day.

A portion of each blizzard sold at all participating Dairy Queen’s nationwide was donated to the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Sales in Jamestown and Valley City stayed local and will be donated to the hospital in Fargo.

Fargo Program Director Hillery Mork spent the day traveling to several Dairy Queens in North Dakota. She reported that they had success with Miracle Treat Day in 2016.

Mork reported that funds from the day support various things at the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Jamestown Dairy Queen Owner Tricia Seckerson said that she had a lot of experience with the Children’s Miracle Network, making the event much more personal for her.

Final numbers from the day were not immediately available. In 2016, Jamestown DQ raised over $2,700 that were donated to the local hospital.
