N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – BIO (Beautiful Inside & Out) Girls is a recently new organization that continues to build self-confidence and life skills through positive mentoring, physical fitness and Christian-based curriculum.
The program has also begun growing in the Jamestown community.
Site Director Amie Aesoph says she saw the program on Facebook and reached out to bring it to Jamestown.
The program runs in seasons and will be entering its third season in Jamestown. Aesoph says the girls meet weekly starting in March and set goals for themselves. The final goal is running a 5K together.
Set for girls in grades 2nd through 6th, the Jamestown BIO Girls can only take in 35 girls at a time. Aesoph says that’s been a challenge, but encourages those interested to still look for information that is released around February for sign up.
Because the program is free and ran by non-profit, Aesoph says around $3,500 needs to be raised through sponsorship’s. For more information on the BIO Girls program, click here.
