N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Prairie Paws Rescue has saved the lives of hundreds of animals since it first began its mission in 2007.
The club continues that mission 10 years later and has helped many different animals find a permanent home.
Kaye John is Co-Founder and President of the organization. She says while they focus primarily on dogs and cats, they’ve had an assortment of different animals come through for adoption.
The Splash and Dash Dog Wash will be held Saturday, July 15th at RM Stoudt’s in Jamestown from 10 AM to 1 PM. John says all funds raised during the day will benefit the animals and foster homes they live in.
The event will feature 5 to 6 kiddie pools for the dogs to be scrubbed and cleaned. Nikki and Kim from Southwood Vet Clinic will be providing nail trimming for a suggested donation of $5.
John also mentioned that donations of food, toys, litter, and other pet items would be accepted during the day as well. She says they are in desperate need of special food for the animals.
