N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – LaMoure’s Police Chief has been arrested.

52 year-old James Watson of LaMoure was arrested Thursday and is currently being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center (SCCC). Information from the SCCC says Watson is being held for “Continuous Sexual Abuse.”

The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation made the arrest.  He is facing multiple charges in 3 different counties in North Dakota. They include 2 counts of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child and 3 counts of Gross Sexual Imposition. The formal complaint has still not been made available.
