CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fireworks are for sale and everyone is asked to exercise caution and make sure there’s adult supervision while children are setting off fireworks this year. Some cities don’t allow the discharge of fireworks, so ask before you fire away.
In Valley City, Fire Chief Gary Retterath said under city ordinance, fireworks can be discharged July 1st thru July 5th in Valley City.
He said enthusiast need to quit setting off their fireworks by 11pm July 1st, 2nd and July 3rd. He said the only exception is July 4th where fireworks can be discharged until 1am.
