N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 120th Stutsman County Fair begins Wednesday, June 28th and continues through July 1st in Jamestown.

One of the biggest draws for the fair has been the rodeo. James River Rodeo Committee member Richard Doerr says this rodeo has continued to grow for the past 16 years since the first one was started.

Several events are planned for the two day show including Tie Down, Barrel Racing, Team Roping and much more. Doerr says one of their biggest shows is the Roughstock.

Doerr pointed out that the Slack competitions would be held Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Those are held due to limited time in each competition. Shows will be Friday, June 30th and Saturday, July 1st at 6:30 PM both nights.

Tickets are $10 for ages 17 and up, $5 for ages 6-16 and free for 6 and under.
