CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Valley City Public School District is getting closer to selecting a new Activities Director following the resignation of Martin Bratrud earlier this year.
Superintendent Josh Johnson said 27 candidates applied for the position during the second round of the application process. He said the hiring committee has narrow the interview process down to six people.
He said none of the prospective candidates were accepted by the hiring committee in the first round of interviews.
Johnson said depending on the candidate the position will pay between $65,000 up to $80,000 for the right person.
