CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A contractor is demolishing the old heat plant on the campus of Valley City State University. 

A small portion of 2nd Avenue Southeast from the corner of the facilities office to the front of the Rhoades Science Center on the VCSU campus is closed until the project is completed.

Meanwhile the new VCSU Heating Plant is nearly complete and will be fully operation this fall for Valley City State University.
