N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – River cleanup for Stutsman County is going to be addressed by a newly formed task force for the Stutsman County Water Resource Board (SCWR).
The seven-member task committee consists of Joan Morris, Stutsman County Auditor Casey Bradly, SCWR Board member John Shock, Jamison Veil, Game & Fish member BJ Kratz, Bob Martin with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Stutsman County Emergency Manager Jerry Bergquist.
Martin says that the county Water Resource Board will be in charge of the task force.
The task force will be looking into grants that can be applied for to help assist with the cost for county river cleanup. Martin pointed out that they would be entering an agreement with Moore Engineering for their service.
Martin says they will also be looking into a $50,000 grant from the North Dakota State Water Commission, which will then be matched by the Stutsman County Water Resource Board.
