N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Commission met in regular session on Tuesday, June 20th with Auditor Casey Bradley and chairman Mark Klose not in attendance.

The first item on the agenda concerned an approval of retail fireworks lincense for Sheriff’s Department in the town of Kulm. The request was approved unanimously. Later, Highway Superintendent Mickey Nenow provided the latest details on road projects in the county.

Nenow says that culvert replacement is still underway for several townships in the county. Nenow also said they’re looking to move sand from Pelican Point. About 1000 yards are planned to moved out there.

Corey Shevlin with the Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation also brought up the request to relocate a section line at the Spiritwood Energy Park.

The request was approved unanimously. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, July 5th at 4 PM in the Stutsman County Courthouse.
