N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As the Fort Seward Wagon Train prepares for it’s 48th voyage on June 18th, residents who are interested but unable to make the trip will get a chance to follow along through technology.
For the first time since it first began, the Fort Seward Wagon Train will be documenting it’s journey through social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Although technology is discouraged on the lifelike trip, Vice President Lacey Kaiser will be using it to post updates on their trail.
Kaiser says this will also allow individuals who may not have the ability to participate in the week long ride to come out and enjoy some of the night’s events during the week.
The 76 mile journey will take the participants across the region while they experience what life was like in the 1800’s. They will end their trip by arriving at Kulm’s 125 anniversary celebration.
