N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) is among exclusive company after being named as the only healthcare organization in North Dakota and South Dakota as the Best Place to Work in Healthcare 2017.
In the 10 year history of the award, this is the first time JRMC has received it. Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare program recognizes the top workplaces in healthcare, those that go above and beyond to support their staff, empowering them to provide patients and other customers with the best possible care, products and services.
“I remain humbled to get to work with such an amazing group of co-workers,” said JRMC President and CEO K.C. DeBoer. “They are THE difference in the lives of those we serve each and every day.”
150 recipients are selected from around the country as Best Places to work. The process includes a questionnaire from the participating employer as well as a satisfaction survey of a company’s employees.
“Employers in today’s highly-regulated healthcare industry face great challenges in recruiting, engaging and retaining top talent which is key to quality care and positive patient experiences,” said Aurora Aguilar, editor of Modern Healthcare. “I commend those organizations that have risen to the occasion and have made the list of Best Places to Work in Healthcare.”
The program is open to all healthcare organizations and companies in all sectors of the industry with a minimum of 25 full-time employees.
“We are honored to be named to this list and continuously strive to make JRMC the best place for employees to work and see this recognition as affirmation that we are on the right track,” DeBoer said.
