N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown has announced that 5th Street NE between 12th Avenue NE & 17th Avenue NE will be closed to through traffic for construction beginning Monday, June 5th.

Earlier this year, the City of Jamestown approved a bid from Border States Paving to complete the project for $1.8 million. The city estimates the closure of 5th Street to last for approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

Motorists should use extreme caution in the area and use alternative routes as necessary.
