In The EDC Tournament Valley City went 2-1 and took the conference’s final bid to the tournament. The lost the first day to EDC runner up Fargo North 10-7 then went on to beat Shanley and Red River. Head coach Jason Lindgren felt his team turned a corner in their final 2 games.

Valley City draws The WDA Champion Bismarck Demons. The Hi-Liners hosted them back on May 5th and lost 10-9 and 13-11. The match up between the 4th seed out of the east and the west’s top seed will be the final game of the day.
