N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger reports that Wednesday, May 31st was a busy day for him and the department.
Chief Edinger states that officers had a vehicle refuse to stop for them at around 5:15 PM that evening on 4th Avenue NW. He states a felony or high risk traffic stop was initiated by the officers to stop the vehicle.
“Once the occupant or occupants were in custody, the street was cleared,” Edinger stated. “I can’t go into the incident further as it is a Task Force initiated incident.”
Edinger says one individual needed to be apprehended at the bottom of the hill near Sunnyside Trailer Court stemming from the same incident.
According to the Stutsman County Inmate Roster, 12 individuals were taken in on May 31st. Those taken in were either from the courts, Jamestown Police Department or Stutsman County Sheriff’s Department.
Some of those currently jailed include:
– 41 year-old Catherine Corrine Ashback for Theft of Property, Lost, Mislaid, or Delivered by Mistake
– 29 year-old Curtiss Matthew Heidbrink for Disobedience to Court Order 24/7 violation and FTA-Shoplifting/Theft
– 26 year-old Mariah Ann Meyer for Possession of Controlled Substance (Marijuana) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Marijuana)
– 64 year-old Alfredia Fraction Nussbaum for Simple Assault (Domestic)
– 40 year-old Timothy Allan Ost for DUR and Failure to Halt.
