N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown girls soccer team finished of their regular season with a perfect 14-0-0 record on Thursday night with a 5-0 win over Legacy. Last week, the Jays became the first team other than Century or St. Mary’s to win the West since 2000.

Emily Reiten scored her 40th career goal to get the scoring started and that was all Jamestown needed. Reiten also assisted on the final goal when Megan Gaffaney completed the five-goal flurry.

Jamestown will play Fargo Davies at 4:30pm on Thursday at Sid Cichy Field in Fargo in the opening round of the state tournament. We’ll have coverage of the Jays state tournament games on 103.1 The Raven.
