N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With Memorial Day weekend starting, many individuals will make their way to state streams and lakes to do some fishing.
The Game & Fish Department is reminding those who would like to fish to purchase their fishing license before heading out. The cost for a regular license for those 16 years of age or older is $16.
Game & Fish Biologist Doug Leier says that when a parent, guardian or individual without a license helps someone out while fishing, it is considered fishing.
