CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)-  Valley City Public Schools are changing their approach in the search for a new activities director. Superintendent Josh Johnson said the three candidates announced earlier as finalist are no long acceptable to the hiring committee. He said the position was reposted Monday with some new qualifications that may interest more people to apply.

Johnson said depending on the candidate the position will pay between $65,000 up to $80,000 for the right person.

He said no one working within the district expressed an interest in applying for the position.
